Bias, Cultural Awareness and ASD, 8-hours, POST approved

This 8-hour POST approved class will be helpful to understanding prejudices in society and a review of how bias is formed, maintained and changed.

The class provides an awareness of the differences in cultures for the first responder.  Information will be provided to help understand these differences and how to avoid misunderstandings to improve communication.

NEW – This class includes information on Autism (ASD) which is a complex developmental condition.
